Ashes to Life
Chike, a businessman at Alaba International Market, dies in a car crash and then finds himself alive again, but this time, inhabiting the body of a goat.
Aquiya, a street-wise goat, who was also in the same circumstance as Chike, befriends him and teaches him strategies for survival as a goat. But Chike has a driving force for survival: his family. He must locate them. Will he find them? Will he be welcome?
About the Author
Ray Amadi, seventh in a family of eight, was born in a remote village in the Eastern part of Nigeria. He had his education in a community primary school and St. Augustine’s Grammar School, Nkwerre. After his secondary education, he wrote his first unpublished novel. He later proceeded to the University of Lagos where he received a BSc honours degree in Sociology. He worked in a car sales company before resigning to go fully into writing.
The author is married with three children. He is now living in South Africa where he is working on his second book.
